Made on the basis of the model MG01 44B BKRD, the unique piece Donal Duck is a pictorial tribute made by Prof. Paolo Vermigli to Flavio Oreda, founder and owner of Meccanica Grezza linked to an anecdote. On the occasion of a particularly important event in which they participated together, there was a problem of organizational nature and Flavio, in an attempt to solve the problem had to “measure” verbally with an interlocutor not willing to solve the issue, it was born an epic quarrel with spectator his friend Paolo Vermigli who with an artist’s eye photographed that moment in his imagination and decided to depict on a quadrant the character of Flavio; Thus was born the Donal Duck portraying the famous duck with a pout after one of his outbursts. The painting was performed on the first watch produced by Meccanica Grezza with serial number 00/19.

Black enamel dial with applied indexes in relief made of luminova with metallic edges and original painting by Prof. Paolo Vermigli with the interpretation of Donald Duck masterfully represented. Steel stick hands with central part in luminova.
“Ribbon” strap in red cowhide leather, width 22 mm and thickness 2.5 barrel varnished and dyed with vegetable dyes according to the ancient Tuscan tradition, subsequently hand-sewn with waxed thread by a master saddler. Buckle in AISI 316L steel machined from solid and engraved with the initials of the brand.
Swiss Made marking on dial and caseback; engraving with serial number and autograph signature of the producer. Swiss made watch with 50 m water resistance.
The watch is owned by the manufacturer, is the first watch produced by Meccanica Grezza and has serial number 00/19. Upon request, Meccanica Grezza produces unique pieces and small series of hand-painted watches by Prof. Paolo Vermigli.
